Hello To You!
Just wanted to say hello to the new subscribers. I think you subscribed because you liked one of my books and want to hear more about the series.
Well, if that was your motivation then you’ve done the right thing! I have a mailing list and a FB page for Parched and Misty Black but this is where you come for continual updates. This blog is my first inclination. Β π Oh, and sometimes I just use words because they feel so right at the moment–like “my first inclination.”
But welcome π
It seems that my LOVE in the USA series is starting to become pretty popular amongst readers. Thank you for that. And thank you for reading the books. I’m an emotional writer so more than likely you’ve had an emotional experience, whether good or bad, wanted or unwanted.
What are my plans for the series you might ask????
The first four books, maybe a fifth, I haven’t decided yet, links two families in love with the last book wrapping up their experiences. I’ve already written the last scene in my head. Then, I want to start another set of stories, linking more people in love but this time they’ll be associated in a different way. I’ll always stick to urban environments because I can only write what I know and that’s city girls and boys. So the start of the next clan will probably be in a political office or a law office somewhere in Washington, DC, then to Boston, then to Maryland and probably end in I don’t know… I’ll figure it out. And I must do a fun and frills LOVE in the USA… Miami, Hawaii and New Orleans. Yeah??? π And then of course there’s LOVE Across the World. Paris. London. Madrid. There are the Caribbean islands too. I mean, this can go on for a very long time! LOL!
But never fear my lovers of Parched! The Benel sisters will outlive all of us! I mean, after the Earth is destroyed by that meteor that has slammed into us in hundreds of movies, the Benel sisters will still be alive and kicking in Enu or some other indestructible universe. And that snake Lario Exgesis would’ve followed them there, still chasing after Adore. LOL! And I think the next book I’m going to write is going to be the most important. I’m pushing myself to the limit. I seek to inform, entertain, ignite your passions and stir your emotions. A lot of male characters are coming back in the next book and they are going to put those bonds of love to the test. And it’s going to be a two parter because after they get through this world, they’ll need another book to recover.
So you see… I have a lifetime of writing just in those two series. And you never know… I’m always changing and growing and becoming someone new. I could outgrow both series one day. Maybe in ten years. Who knows.
Oh. And then I have the Misty Black trilogy. Three books and I’m out. I’ll release the first book in 2014. I’ve requested time with the editor for Misty Black, The Beginning in March 2014. It was the first book I ever released and it needs an editor so bad that my eyes hurt while reading it. Once it goes through proper editing, I will re-release it for free. So. I’ll probably get started on the first book of the trilogy after I finish the first part of the next Parched book 1. I’ve learned that it takes at least two weeks for my brain to recover after finishing a book, and I must learn to respect that by giving my brain time to reset itself.
Okay. Now it’s time to work.
Thanks again for wanting to know more about my books. I truly appreciate it. Oh, and also, every once in a while, I’ll label a post “brain fart.” Feel free to ignore it. But sometimes when I’m writing and I’m inspired by a thought, I blog about that thought. Or, when the guy upstairs decides he wants to make my life a living hell by stomping, I’ll blog about it. My regular readers know that I never stay in one town for long, so I’ll blog about my next move, and baby it’s coming! LOL! When I get there, I’ll let you know!
And I always end with…
Peace.
I have a friend who says that to me all the time, and it seems like the best way to end a conversation. So…
Peace.
Much Love. (I use this one too)

Exuse me,but is there a certain age where one of the sisters stop aging. Do they live forever or they grow older and just die? It is all a little confusing to me.

Hi Jonisha, I wanted to let you know that I received your question the first time π I’ve been giving the answer some thought because the ambiguity surrounding their age is deliberate. I mean, I have this entire discourse on the notion, stemming from our age obsessed and depressed society.
You can see what I’m doing by looking at these patterns. First, we were first introduced to Clarity, Fawn, Zill an Glo. They are the sisters who had Earth lives from the moment I began telling their stories. That quickly changed as soon as they discovered who they were. You read how fast time progressed–how many Earth years they lost just from being in Enu for hours in the perpetual day. They also lose years when entering a different universe. Earth is the only universe obsessed with calculating one’s age.
So the point is, if we don’t focus on our age and just live and do what we have to do, then who gives a care. They just are. My answer would be, and it is a challenge for my readers, but just enjoy them for who they are at the moment you’re reading about them. They will be evolving. I have some plans regarding their physicality but you’ll have to wait and read them! π
Thanks for asking!
