So, as you know, I’ve been living in Chicago for a month on the 12th. I’m writing the next full-length book in the LOVE in the USA series, Getting To Know Her, A Chicago Love Story.
I will say that as long as I remained in the neighborhood I moved to, I would’ve been disappointed. But last week I decided to put my walking shoes and take a path that Belmont will walk in the story.
So. This book is not a travelogue about Chicago. They’re just in Chicago for business. However, I am so impressed by this city that I’m thinking maybe Daisy and Belmont will return one day and make it home! 🙂
The way this city merges the old with the new. It’s SOOOO clean too. So clean. There are more bars than coffee shops but that’s OK 🙂 If you put your walking shoes on, then you never have to go to the same place twice!
Notice how clean the alleyways are… Impressive.
Check it out!
So glad you’re starting to enjoy the city!!! It really IS beautiful! I. Love. Chicago!
🙂 There are some beautiful neighborhoods! 🙂
WOW such a clean & tidy city, nice wide streets & that canal is amazing. The colour is spectacular!
I agree! The architectural details can get a bit ostentatious, kind makes you roll your eyes every once in a while, but still, it’s a gorgeous city. 🙂
